Hawzah News Agency- Sheikh Hussein Ghobris said in his message: “Greetings to you, Muslim, free, and noble nation of Iran; greetings to your Leader, the great symbol of the Islamic Ummah, our Marja’ and guardian, the fully qualified Jurist, the Imam and Leader, Seyed Ali Khamenei – may the Almighty protect him.”
“Honor and eternity belong to the martyrs who have ascended to the highest paradise from the time of the blessed Islamic Revolution’s victory until today, the most recent of whom were those martyred in recent days and weeks amid incitement to chaos, violence, murder, and arson,” he added.
He further stated: “The criminals behind these actions sought to disrupt people’s peace and weaken the foundations of Muslim Iranian society, but the Islamic Republic of Iran, as in similar past instances when enemies attempted to harm it, emerged from this test sound and triumphant.”
Sheikh Ghobris remarked: “We must declare our position regarding the recent events in some Iranian cities; what was carried out under the pretext of protest for just rights was, in reality, nothing but sedition and interference by groups of saboteurs linked to the Zionist Mossad and the American CIA. These armed elements, with specific plans, inflicted extensive damage on innocent people, and even security and police forces in various cities were not spared from their harm.”
The member of the Assembly of Muslim Scholars continued: “In the face of what happened, and while closely following media coverage, we must first appreciate the awareness, wisdom, and patience of the leadership of the Islamic Republic. Through his wisdom and lofty ethics, the nation gathered and Islamic unity was revived anew. The faithful and proud nation of Iran, even before any official call, took to the streets in their millions to loudly declare: We are with the line of Islam, with the blessed Islamic Republic in Iran, we are with no other system, and we will not relinquish the achievements of the revolution of Imam Khomeini (peace be upon him) up to today.”
He emphasized: “We say with full confidence that this revolution is under God’s support and grace; God protects it, and by the blessing of the existence of the Imam of the Age, Hazrat Hujjat ibn al-Hasan al-Mahdi al-Muntazar (may God hasten his reappearance) – the pure reserve of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) – it will endure. From here, from Lebanon, we say to the Iranian nation, whom we know and whose revolution we accompany: Proceed by God’s grace. We pray for you and stand alongside you against your enemies. Just as we strongly condemn any attempt to disrespect the Imam, the just Marja’, and the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei (may God protect him).”
Sheikh Ghobris added: “Enemies, through propaganda attacks, try to tarnish his image, but we have seen Muslims across the world – both Shia and Sunni – take to the streets and openly condemn aggression against religious Marja’iyyah (religious authority). We consider our Marja’, Ayatollah Khamenei, like the other great Marja’s whom we love and respect, to be a red line, and we declare that any aggression or attempt to weaken his position crosses all red lines. From us, they will see nothing but insistence on continuity in our positions and steadfastness on our principles and beliefs. May God protect Imam Khamenei, the other grand Marja’s, and the Islamic Republic of Iran across all its geographical and popular borders. This dear and powerful country is proud by the blessing of its knowledge, progress, and civilization, and we are certain no harm will come to it.”
He concluded by saying: “I reiterate, based on what is mentioned in our metaphysical discussions, that whoever looks upon Qom – and by Qom, all of Iran is intended – with ill intent, God will break his back. Just as He broke the Pharaohs in the past, God will also crush and destroy all tyrants who intend hostility towards this country. Victory and honour belong to God, His Messenger, and His righteous, believing servants.”
